Pillars of
The Gap 2
Walton Bridge Park
As a part of the upgrade, I designed and installed new pillars, on the corner of Waterworks Road and Jevons Street. Constructed from white concrete with acrylic and ceramic inserts, the pillars tell the story of The Gap community, focusing on the history, vegetation, fauna, inhabitants and topography. Ceramic tiles commemorate individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the community.
These are updated periodically with
new plaques and embellishments which reflect the contribution of
the person being recognised
